These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by Flossy Home Placement Solutions (“the Agency”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a domestic help placement agency operating in South Africa. By using our services, registering with us, or engaging in a placement, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published.
2. Services Offered
Flossy Home Placement Solutions provides recruitment and placement services for domestic workers including cleaners, carers, nannies, housekeepers, and related household staff.
The Agency acts solely as an intermediary between employers and domestic workers and does not employ domestic workers unless expressly stated in writing.
3. Registration
3.1 Job seekers
By registering, you confirm that:
- All information provided is accurate and truthful;
- You are legally eligible to work in South Africa;
- You consent to background, reference, and identity checks where applicable.
3.2 Employers
By registering, you confirm that:
- You will comply with South African labour laws;
- You will provide safe and lawful working conditions;
You will treat domestic workers with dignity and fairness
4. Placement
The Agency will use reasonable efforts to match suitable candidates with employer requirements. However:
- Placement suitability is not guaranteed;
- Final hiring decisions rest solely with the employer;
- Employment relationships are formed directly between employer and domestic worker.
5. Replacement Policy
Replacement terms, if offered, will be governed by a separate written agreement and subject to time limits and conditions.
6. Limitations of liability
The Agency shall not be liable for:
- Acts, omissions, or conduct of domestic workers or employers;
- Loss, damage, injury, or disputes arising from the employment relationship;
- Financial losses resulting from placement decisions.
7. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold the Agency harmless against any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from:
- Employment disputes;
- Breach of these Terms;
- Unlawful conduct by either party.
8. Processing of information
The Agency processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Personal information will be handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
By using our services, you consent to such processing.
9.Termination of Services
The Agency may terminate services at any time if:
- False information is provided;
- There is abuse, misconduct, or unlawful activity;
- Fees remain unpaid.
